Fantastisch werk is op 13 januari 2017 verkocht op de ‘Aanschouw’ veiling. Ik ben op bezoek geweest bij de eigenaren, ze hebben me over zichzelf verteld en over hun huis: de plek waar ze graag een fantastisch werk zouden willen. Mijn indruk van deze mensen en wat ze over zichzelf vertelden, hebben bepaald wat Fantastisch werk is geworden. Hun karakters en persoonlijke verhalen brachten mij van Fantastisch werk naar Amen.

Fantastic work is a work that was sold without existing.
The work was going to be made for the person that would buy it at the ‘Aanschouw’ auction. This person could come up with a location for the work, I would investigate this person and the location. The work was going to be made for this location and this person. ‘Fantastic work’ was sold at the auction on January 13. I visited the owners, they liked the work to be developed for their house. They showed me their house and told me a lot about themselves. My impression of the owners and what they told me, determined what the work was going to be. Their personalities and private stories led me from Fantastic work to Amen.
