Galerie de Aanschouw is een vitrine aan café de Schouw. Elke vrijdagavond om 20.30 uur vindt er een wissel plaats, waarbij kunstenaars beurtelings met één werk exposeren. Het vitrineraam is door mij vervangen door een paneel met 2 deurspionnetjes. Door de een kijk je van binnen naar buiten, door de ander van buiten naar binnen. Deze foto’s zijn gemaakt tijdens het bezoek van een kleuterklas.

Gallery ‘De Aanschouw’ is a show window, attached to cafe ‘De Schouw’.
Every fridaynight at 20.30 there is an event: the exchange of works which are made for this show window. The work of 1 artist is removed, the work of the next artist is installed. I removed the entire show window and placed a wooden panel with spyholes. One spyhole could be used to glance from the street into the cafe, the other to see from the inside of the cafe to the outside, the street. The photographs are made during the visit of school children.
