Geneviève Kooijman and Judith van den Berg work together as Superduo. They create concepts that are playful in appearance and thorough in substance. They love to evoke curiosity and to entice attendees in becoming participants. Their concepts can be subtle or bold, and can present themselves as attractive activities, training, routes, creative advice, education and guidance of the public.

Specialist and innovator arts, culture, education • Ongoing
Judith van den Berg works as a specialist in arts, culture and education for various individuals and organisations in the cultural sector. For example, she is regularly deployed by the cultural education department of the library in Delft (DOK). There she is best known as a specialist in cultural education for DOK Cultuurhelden. She has also been consulted as a specialist in a podcast by Rotterdams Weerwoord: ‘How do I create a movement?’ (episode 2 – De bewuste beweging). Individuals like Jaap May, Yvonne van den Herik, Danae Bodewes, Genevieve Kooijman, Jan van Peet, Trudie Bukman and Danielle van Steenbergen asked her for advice on work related issues.
Judith van den Berg takes the time to listen carefully, asks clear questions and strives to get to the core of an issue together. She is able to bridge the gap between theory and practice, and between individuals or organizations. Her language skills can convert difficult information into understandable stories.
VTS conversations • Ongoing
Judith van den Berg is a VTS moderator. VTS stands for Visual Thinking Strategies (see for information in Dutch VTS Nederland). It is a way of looking at images or artworks and talking about them, based on your own experience. Knowledge is not important. The moderator leads the conversation according to a fixed pattern. This approach creates a safe situation, which invites an investigative attitude and active participation. People become aware of their own thoughts and those of others. Differences are a natural part of the conversation and prove to be an enrichment.
Regularly participating in VTS conversations has a positive effect on the ability to observe and on critical-analytical and creative thinking, and on imagination and language skills (read more about research on VTS).
