The Center for the Arts in Rotterdam (CBK) asked for a work for a weekend, in which the people living in the neighbourhood of the CBK would be involved. I came up with 7 temporary institutions that could also be abbreviated as CBK (in dutch). The CBK’s were all realised for half an hour or an hour, with the help of people from the neighbourhood. These people were asked to be part of the institution of that moment. For instance, they were asked to come to the CBK to give a compliment about the neighbourhood during the Center for Neighbourhood Compliments, or to take part in the Club for Moving and Dozing. On the window the name of the current CBK was depicted. This name was replaced by a new institution just before it started.
